Job summary

Waterman Aspen is seeking a Highways Design Engineer to join the London North team. You will work on highway projects from concept to delivery, applying standards and preparing BoQs with guidance from senior engineers.

Educated in civil engineering with a professional path toward IEng/CEng, you will bring experience with NEC contracts, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and strong MS Office skills to support diverse client projects and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Educated to a civil engineering degree or HND.
• Hold or be working towards a professional qualification (IEng/CEng).
• Full UK/EEC driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to highway design on major projects, from initiation to completion.
• Prepare specifications and Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for highway works.
• Apply knowledge of highway design standards (DMRB, TSRGD, MCHW).
• Support delivery on projects with values exceeding £1m with senior engineer guidance.
