Waterman Aspen is recruiting Highway Engineers for the North East region on a secondment basis. You will contribute to major UK infrastructure projects, delivering highway designs, alignments, junction layouts and feasibility studies while coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

We expect a strong professional background, proficiency in Civil 3D, and a formal qualification (EngTech/IEng/CEng). The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and development opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of DMRB, MCHW, TSRGD and CDM Regulations is essential.
• Experience in highway designs, alignments, junction layouts or feasibility studies preferred.
• Ability to develop practical, buildable design solutions and to prepare technical reports and quantities.
• Professional qualification (EngTech, IEng, or CEng) with a relevant institution is required.

• Awareness of sustainable transport principles and low-carbon design approaches
• Understanding of active travel design standards
• Confident supporting project managers with programme, cost and quality inputs
