Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Highways Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering a varied portfolio of infrastructure projects across the UK. The role focuses on highways design and associated infrastructure, including Section 278 and Section 38 agreements.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of post-graduate experience, with Chartered status highly desirable. The position offers hybrid working from any UK office and exposure to water projects, data centres

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of post-graduate highways experience.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong highways and infrastructure design experience.
• Good understanding of Section 278 and Section 38 agreements.
• Experience designing access roads and highway infrastructure.
• Ability to produce and review technical design information.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Chartered status is highly desirable.
• Experience across water, data centres or major infra projects beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highways and civil engineering design across a varied project portfolio.
• Support infrastructure design for water and data centre developments.
• Design highways, access roads and related infrastructure.
• Work on schemes involving Section 278 and Section 38 agreements.
• Produce and review technical design information.
• Coordinate highways requirements with wider civil and multidisciplinary teams.
• Resolve technical design and coordination issues.
• Support projects throughout design development and delivery.
• Work closely with engineers and wider project teams.
