Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking Driver Charge Hands to deliver essential maintenance across the road network, including potholes repairs, patching works and gully cleansing. The role requires a full UK driving licence and the ability to work outdoors in a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in highways maintenance or construction.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Ability to work in a team in a physical outdoor role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out highway repairs including potholes, patching and minor works.
• Undertake gully cleansing and general drainage maintenance.
• Operate plant and vehicles safely.
• Ensure works are completed to high standards and in line with health and safety requirements.
