Job summary

Nordex Group in the Scottish Highlands seeks a Wind Turbine Service Technician based at Burn O'Whilk Windfarm near Wick. You will service and maintain Nordex turbines, ensuring high availability and safe operation across the windfarm.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical work, on-call and weekend overtime, with occasional nights away and travel within the site. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical/electrical industry.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Able to read electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams.
• Willing to travel; nights away from home may be required.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• On-site performance analysis and action plan implementation.
• Support on-site turbine improvements on problem turbines.
• Provide on-site software & hardware updates.
• Create reports on turbine performance and components.
• Handle parameter changes and alarm adjustments when needed.
