Job summary

Folly View Primary is seeking a dedicated HLTA to lead the Pre-School and support pupils, teachers, and the wider school community. You will help learners reach their potential through tailored learning support, promoting inclusion and independence.

You will assist with planning and delivering lessons, monitoring progress, developing resources, and liaising with parents and external professionals. A commitment to safeguarding, equality and pupil wellbeing is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Meets HLTA standards or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Committed to raising achievement and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Help plan and deliver engaging lessons and learning activities.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support next steps.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team as a Pre-School Lead and help pupils achieve their full potential.

The role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to support pupils, teachers, and the wider school community. The role involves helping pupils achieve their full potential by providing tailored learning support, promoting inclusion, and encouraging independence. You will assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons, monitoring progress, and maintaining a positive and well-managed learning environment.

You will also contribute to the development of resources, support assessment activities, and work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals. A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and the overall ethos of the school is essential.

About you:
  • Has experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Meets HLTA standards or has equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Has strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
