Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd is recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at a brand-new specialist SEMH school opening in Esher this September. You will join a founding team supporting pupils aged 7–17 with SEMH and MLD, delivering engaging lessons and targeted interventions from day one.

The role involves leading sessions, providing classroom cover, and working collaboratively with teachers to promote positive behaviour and learning goals.

Qualifications

• Experience as HLTA/TA/Cover Supervisor or Unqualified Teacher.
• Confident leading lessons or taking responsibility for groups of pupils.
• Experience with SEND/SEMH needs is highly desirable.
• Calm, resilient and able to build positive relationships.
• Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced HLTA, Teaching Assistant or Unqualified Teacher ready to take the next step in your career?

We’re recruiting for a brand-new specialist school opening in Esher this September, supporting pupils aged 7–17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the school’s founding team, helping to shape a positive and nurturing learning environment from day one.

The Role

• Lead learning sessions and provide classroom cover when required.

About You

• Previous experience as an HLTA , experienced Teaching Assistant , Cover Supervisor or Unqualified Teacher.

• Calm, resilient and able to build positive relationships.
• Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
