Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced HLTA to join a welcoming school in Doncaster, working across KS1 and Lower KS2. You will lead lessons, support planning and delivery, and provide targeted support to pupils who need it.

The ideal candidate is an experienced HLTA or teaching assistant, confident in KS1/KS2, and able to manage a class when required. You will contribute to a positive school culture and support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.

Qualifications

• Experienced HLTA or highly experienced Teaching Assistant
• Confident working across KS1 and Lower KS2
• Comfortable leading lessons and managing a class when required
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils quickly
• Calm, patient and adaptable
• Confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
• A strong team player who is willing to contribute to the wider school community

Responsibilities

• Work across KS1 and Lower KS2, supporting pupils across a range of year groups.
• Deliver engaging lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support teachers with the planning, preparation and delivery of high-quality learning.
• Work with individuals and small groups to provide targeted support.
• Help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations.
• Build strong and positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and dedicated HLTA to join a welcoming and supportive school in Doncaster, working across Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident HLTA who enjoys working across different year groups and can deliver engaging, purposeful learning experiences for pupils. The successful candidate will play an important role within the school, supporting teachers and pupils while taking responsibility for leading learning and covering classes when required.

The Role

As an HLTA, you will:
