Dorset Council is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a sports focus for a fixed-term contract in Wilton. The role runs Monday to Friday, 12.00pm to 4.15pm (21.25 hours/week) during term time plus INSET days, November 2026 to 31 August 2027.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and positive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly and supportive school team.
This is a varied and rewarding role, working across five afternoons each week. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with an interest, experience or qualification in sport and physical activity, as an important part of the role will be encouraging pupils to be active and delivering an after‑school sporting activity or club.
