Job summary

Christ Church CE Primary School is seeking an experienced, passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in a safe, trauma-informed environment where every child can thrive.

We offer high staff ratios, CPD through the St Bartholomew's Multi Academy Trust, opportunities to lead PPA cover and small group interventions, and a supportive SLT and SENDCos.

Qualifications

• History of supporting HLTAs through high-quality CPD.
• HLTAs provide PPA cover; illness cover (3 days) and small group interventions.
• Two days are never the same – brings excitement and enjoyment to the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide PPA cover and illness cover as needed.
• Lead small group interventions and targeted support for students.
• Contribute to a trauma-informed, supportive learning environment with a strong team.

We have a history of supporting HLTAs through high-quality CPD with some moving on to QTS. Our HLTAs are an important and integral part of our school team who provide PPA cover; initial illness cover (3 days) and small group interventions. Two days are never the same – and that brings excitement and enjoyment to the job.
