Job summary

Kilnwood Vale Primary School in Horsham, West Sussex, is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team on a permanent, term-time basis. You will support learning, deliver planned lessons when required, and help pupils with a range of needs to thrive.

You will work closely with the Headteacher and staff within the GLF Schools trust, benefiting from collaborative professional development and a strong network across our cluster.

Qualifications

Working closely with the Headteacher and teaching staff, you'll help deliver high-quality learning experiences, lead planned lessons when required, and provide targeted support to pupils with a range of needs. What we are looking for

• Hold relevant qualifications, including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and an HLTA qualification.
• Have experience in supporting and delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning.
• Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
• Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to classroom planning.
• Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues, children, and parents.
• Be motivated, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

• Contract Type: Permanent, term time only.
