Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Welsh-medium primary schools in Cardiff. You will work with class teachers to support learning, promote positive behaviour and deliver small group interventions as needed.

The role requires fluent Welsh, a proactive approach, and the ability to adapt across different schools within the Cardiff area.

Qualifications

Welsh Speaking Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Cardiff | Start Date: September | Salary: £14.25 per hour.

We are recruiting enthusiastic Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of year groups in Welsh-medium primary schools throughout Cardiff. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils, promote positive behaviour, deliver small group interventions where required and help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant childcare qualification (desirable)
• Fluent Welsh language skills, both spoken and written
• Positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and work confidently across different Welsh-medium schools
