Milk Education is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work full-time at a primary school in Atherton (M46), starting September 2026. The role involves supporting lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 when teachers are out on PPA or management release time.
You will need solid knowledge of the EYFS–KS2 curriculum and prior HLTA or teaching experience. This is a long-term role with potential to become permanent, Monday to Friday 08:30–15:30.

The temporary HLTA role will consist of covering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 when the teachers are out doing PPA or need management release time.
In this HLTA role, you will be required to cover a range of subjects throughout EYFS - KS2, so knowledge and experience covering the EYFS - KS2 curriculum within a UK mainstream primary school setting is essential.
This is a long-term role that will start in September 2026 and could go from a temporary role to a permanent role for the ideal applicant. The HLTA role will be full-time, 08:30am until 15:30pm, Mon to Fri.
