Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to find their next role, and work in a Primary School setting in an OFSTED graded ‘GOOD’ school in the Middleton area.
A successful applicant will have a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent and will have several years’ experience working with children in a school setting. You will be expected to cover class in the absence of a teacher, small group, and large group interventions in KS1 & KS2 settings. Safeguarding training is preferred but not required as some training is provided.
Prospero Teaching provide staff to schools, colleges, and nurseries across the Middleton areas, including SEN schools. We are currently looking to fill a HLTA role in Middleton. The strongest applicant will have confidence in leading a group of children in absence of their teacher, reading, and writing sessions and will have good behavioural management skills.
