Job Description:
A Leeds school in the LS12 area is seeking an experienced HLTA to join their team on a long-term basis to support pupils and staff, contribute to high standards and achievements. The role involves supporting teachers with behavioural management and lesson delivery. You may also need to plan and deliver your own lessons due to unplanned absences. 1:1 work may also be required.

Hours of work: Term time, Monday-Friday
Pay: GBP 110-GBP 130 per day depending on experience.
Start date: ASAP.
Contract: Permanent/full-time

The successful candidate will:
Hold a HLTA qualification or equivalent to a level 4 NVQ.
Have experience supporting teachers in and out of the classroom.
Be passionate about raising teaching standards.
Have experience managing classroom behaviour and incidents.
Be able to motivate and encourage pupils to reach their potential.
Liaise effectively with staff and report incidents professionally.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years.
