An established educational institution is looking for a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage team. This role involves collaborating with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, and support students with special needs. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Childcare Qualification and experience working with children, demonstrating strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Grade 4 - £25,183 to £28,624 (FTE) per annum (£11,812 - £13,426 pro rata to hours and weeks worked)
Salary: £11,812 - £13,426 pro rata to hours and weeks
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 12.30pm (20 hours per week, term time only plus teacher training days, 39 weeks).
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-organised HLTA to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), initially in our school nursery from September 2025.
This role involves working collaboratively with responsible classroom teachers as a Teaching Assistant, utilizing detailed knowledge and specialist skills to undertake ‘specified work’ and provide care and supervision to pupils.
