Job summary

Confidential is seeking a detail-driven Payroll Coordinator to join our hospitality team. You will ensure accurate, on-time payroll for a high-volume UK workforce and support HR and finance with payroll controls and compliance.

You will manage end-to-end processing, data integrity, reporting, and system improvements using UK payroll software and Excel. The role is 100% in-person with on-site parking and benefits.

Qualifications

• High-Volume payroll management experience.
• Proficiency in standard UK payroll software and ERP HR platforms.
• Advanced Excel: VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivots, data cleansing, exception reporting.
• Experience with automated time & attendance software and workflow automation tools (Power Automate) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Payroll Delivery: Execute accurate and timely payroll, manage lifecycle including starters, leavers, and variations, process statutory payments and holiday pay per UK law, process BACS payments and maintain payroll controls.
• Data Integration & Systems Management: Validate data from time & attendance system against payroll outputs, maintain employee records in HR/payroll databases, resolve discrepancies.
• Reporting, Compliance & Analysis: Produce payroll, labour cost, pension, NI, bonus, and commission reports; support MI; ensure GDPR and statutory payroll compliance.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency; support implementation of workflow tools.
