Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is hiring a Payroll Coordinator to join our hospitality-focused team. You will ensure accurate, on-time payroll delivery for a high-volume UK workforce and support HR/finance with data, reporting, and system improvements.

Key duties include managing the payroll lifecycle, ensuring statutory compliance, and resolving payroll queries. The role is based on-site with perks like on-site parking and a casual dress environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing end-to-end payroll for a high-volume UK workforce.
• Strong proficiency with mainstream UK payroll software and ERP HR platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables and data cleansing.
• Experience with automated time & attendance systems and workflow automation tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate end-to-end payroll processing for a high-volume UK workforce.
• Manage starters, leavers, and contractual variations while ensuring compliance.
• Validate data against automated T&A systems and maintain employee records in HR/payroll databases.
• Provide payroll reporting (labour costs, NI, pensions, bonuses) and support audits and GDPR compliance.
