Job summary

Soho House in the United Kingdom is seeking a Waiter to deliver refined, attentive service to members and guests. You will work closely with floor and kitchen teams to ensure a smooth dining experience, greet guests, take orders, and assist with billing while upholding the club's professional standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a similar setting, thrive under pressure, and are flexible with weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and remains calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Able to follow training schedule and Club School requirements.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members and guests and engage them upon seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and accommodate allergies or dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely, correct delivery of orders.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and pairings.
• Maintain pristine table service and proactively refresh water, wine and beverages.
• Ensure a clean environment and look after setting up and resetting tables.
• Handle member requests and special accommodations to create memorable experiences.
• Process payments via card, Soho House App or House Pay.
• Maintain discretion and professionalism with VIPs.
• Contribute to team success through briefings, tastings and collaboration.
