Job summary

A2Z Driving Service Ltd is seeking an experienced HIAB driver to join its team in the United Kingdom. You will safely operate HIAB-equipped lorries, load and secure shipments, perform pre-trip checks, and liaise with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries on UK-wide routes including London.

We value reliability, safety and good communication, offering a competitive salary with overtime and a Monday-to-Friday schedule, with optional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets and chains.
• Skilled in operating Lorry Loaders/HIABs.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HIABs and deliver/load goods.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch.
• Support UK-wide deliveries including London and other major routes.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring proper load security
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch
• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains
• Skilled in operating Lorry Loaders/HIABs Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Great communication and record-keeping skills

Full-Time, Permanent £34000 £60,000 per year
