Job summary

A2Z Driving Service Ltd in Olney is seeking an experienced HIAB Driver (CLASS 1/2) to join our team on a full-time basis. You will operate HGVs, deliver and offload using HIAB, and ensure loads are secured for UK-wide deliveries.

We offer a competitive salary with overtime, a Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekend work, and the opportunity to work on high-profile contracts. You'll be part of a reliable, safety-focused team that values accurate log-keeping and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Experience driving HGVs and operating HIAB loaders.
• Proven ability to secure loads on flatbeds using straps, ratchets and chains.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, customer-focused with good record-keeping.
• Valid UK HIAB/LICENCE and Class 1 or 2 preferred.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring proper load security
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch
• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains
• Skilled in operating Lorry Loaders/HIABs Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Great communication and record-keeping skills

Full-Time, Permanent £34000 £60,000 per year
