Job summary

A2Z Driving Service Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced HIAB driver (Class 1 and 2) to join our team on a full-time basis. You will safely operate HGVs, deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, and maintain daily logs.

You should have proven load securement experience with straps, ratchets, and chains, be safety-conscious, and possess strong communication and record-keeping skills. UK-wide deliveries are involved.

Qualifications

• Experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets and chains.
• Proven experience operating Lorry Loaders/HIABs with safety in mind.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and customer-focused with good record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and ability to liaise with dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations.
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring proper load security.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring proper load security
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch
• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains

Full-Time, Permanent £34000 £60,000 per year
