Job summary

The Staffing Network Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy waste and recycling operation in Norwich.

You will drive and operate a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle on residential and commercial routes, with 7:00am to 3:30pm shifts, Monday to Friday, and weekly pay.

A starting rate of £15.02 per hour plus overtime at time and a half, with a £150 welcome bonus after 4 weeks, awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence required.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 90 days recent HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

HGV Class 2 Driver - Norwich

The Staff Network are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy Waste & Recycling operation in Norwich (NR5).

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Driving and operating a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle
• Completing residential and commercial waste collections
• Working alongside loaders on planned collection routes
• Expected to exit the vehicle to help unload
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Operating safely and in line with transport legislation
• Following all transport and health & safety procedures

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of 90 days' recent HGV Class 2 driving experience
• A reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
