Job summary

The Staffing Network Ltd is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver based in the United Kingdom to join our logistics team. You will drive a 12-tonne food waste collection vehicle, perform daily checks and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Working Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm, with a £16.67 per hour rate. A valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card are required, along with reliable, punctual and independent work habits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is preferred.
• Good understanding of road safety and compliance requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 (Category C) 12-tonne food waste collection vehicle.
• Carry out commercial food waste collections in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained to a high standard.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and waste collection guidelines.
• Complete relevant paperwork and comply with tachograph regulations.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.

Job description

New HGV Driver Bonus £150 after 4 weeks work based on 40 hours minimum each week worked - Total of 160 hours or 20 shifts

Key Responsibilities
