Job summary

Workmate Agency are recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy Waste & Recycling operation in Norwich (NR5). You will drive a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle and complete residential and commercial waste collections on a Monday to Friday pattern.

We offer £15.02 per hour with overtime paid at time and a half, weekly pay, guaranteed hours and immediate starts. Join a well-established employer with long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 90 days' recent HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle.
• Complete residential and commercial waste collections.
• Work with loaders on planned routes.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Operate safely and follow transport legislation and health & safety procedures.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Driving and operating a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle
• Completing residential and commercial waste collections
• Working alongside loaders on planned collection routes
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Operating safely and in line with transport legislation
• Following all transport and health & safety procedures

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of 90 days' recent HGV Class 2 driving experience
• A reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
