Job summary

Pertemps South Midlands Driving Hub is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing work based in Corby. The role covers curtain-sided trailer work with an 18:00 start, delivering and collecting across regional and national networks.

You will be paid £19 per hour and can choose part-time or full-time patterns, with weekly pay and long-running shifts. Applicants must have a valid HGV Class 1 licence and CPC, plus Digital Tachograph and knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules;

Two years of Class 1 driving experience
HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

Understanding of Drivers' Hours regulations

Responsibilities

HGV Class 1 curtain-sided trailer work
RDC deliveries and collections
Load securing using straps
Vehicle checks and defect reporting
Completing delivery paperwork
Maintaining driving and safety standards

HGV1 (Cat C+E) Night Driver

Pertemps South Midlands Driving Hub is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing work based in Corby.

This is curtain-sided trailer work with a night start time of 18:00. Drivers must attend a site induction on their first day and arrive 30 minutes before shift start.

You’ll be completing a mixture of RDC deliveries and collections across regional and national distribution networks, working with well-established logistics and distribution operations.

The Role

This role involves transporting palletised freight between RDCs, warehouses and customer locations. Drivers will be responsible for ensuring all loads are safely secured before departure and delivered safely and professionally.

Drivers should be confident working with curtain-sided trailers and using straps to secure loads in line with company and legal requirements.
