Kemp Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Workshop Foreman for a well-established commercial vehicle specialist in Warrington. You will lead a team of 18 technicians and 2 apprentices, provide technical support, and ensure the workshop runs smoothly.

This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £45,000–£55,000 per year, with overtime paid at 1.5x and opportunities for progression within a high-retention employer that invests in its people.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience leading teams in a workshop environment.
• Strong knowledge of HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance required.
• Ability to guide a large team with technical support.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing a team of 18 technicians and 2 apprentices
• Providing technical support and guidance to the workshop team
• Ensuring work is completed to manufacturer and DVSA standards
• Managing workshop workflow and allocating jobs efficiently
• Maintaining health and safety standards across the workshop
• Supporting the Service Manager with daily operations
• Assisting with diagnostics and technical queries where required
• Option to be productive if desired - not mandatory
