Job summary

Jago Consultants is seeking a Commercial/LCV/HGV Vehicle Technician for a hands-on, on-site role in the Hailsham area. You will diagnose faults, perform servicing and repairs, and communicate findings clearly to the workshop team and customers.

A full driving licence for the class of vehicle is required, with a focus on quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician with experience in diagnostics and a commitment to excellent customer service and vehicle

Qualifications

• Qualified Vehicle Technician with diagnostic experience.
• Excellent servicing and repair skills for light commercial and heavy goods vehicles.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and report findings to Workshop Controller/Foreman.
• Carry out servicing and repairs to high standards with efficient use of time.
• Liaise with Service Advisors and customers regarding work carried out.

Job Location – Hailsham, East Sussex

Salary – Negotiable depending on experience

You will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product. A large part of the Commercial / HGV Vehicle

Investigate and diagnose faults, reporting findings to the Workshop Controller/Foreman.

Liaise with Service Advisors regarding work carried out, to be communicated to the customer. Speak to customers if required.

Carry out all servicing and repairs to a high standard with an effective use of time and in line with Customer Handling Standards.

Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.

Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.

Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.

As a LCV / HGV / Commercial Technician:

• You will be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician
• Experienced in Vehicle Diagnostics
• Appropriate driving licence for class of vehicle
