Jago Consultants is recruiting on behalf of our HGV operation client for a HGV Vehicle Technician/Mechanic on a Day Shift at their busy site in the UK.

You will service and maintain vehicles, carry out MOT preparations, diagnose faults and ensure first-time fixes, and communicate clearly with customers, colleagues and Service Administration while completing paperwork per warranty procedures.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics.
• Good communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Carry out servicing and maintenance repairs, MOT preparation.

Our client is an HGV operation who are looking to recruit a HGV Trained Technicians/mechanics for their busy site.

We are recruiting for the following shift patterns:

• Day Shift

Depending on experience they will consider Technicians with a passenger car background for LCV work, or experienced HGV technicians.

HGV Vehicle Technician/Mechanic Role:

You will be required to carry out servicing and maintenance repairs, MOT Preparation

Identify and diagnose vehicle faults using a logical and efficient method to ensure first time fix is achieved.

Communicate well with Customers, colleagues and Service Administration

Complete all necessary paper work in-line with company guidelines and manufacturer warranty procedures

HGV Vehicle Technician/Mechanic:

You will be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician

Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 of equivalent

Experienced in Vehicle Diagnostics

Appropriate driving licence for class of vehicle
