Job summary

Tru Talent is recruiting an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter for a busy workshop in the UK. You will service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles, diagnose faults with modern equipment and prepare vehicles for MOTs, ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• HGV licence is desirable.
• Experience in a dealership or fleet environment.
• HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation and inspection work.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and health and safety standards.
• Complete accurate job cards and service documentation.
• Work effectively as part of a workshop team.
• Respond to call outs when on rota.

HGV Technician /HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join a professional workshop team, maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles. You'll be responsible for keeping vehicles safe, reliable and roadworthy, with access to ongoing training and development.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Role:
