Job summary

Warwickshire County Council’s County Fleet Maintenance (CFM) is seeking an HGV Technician to service, maintain and repair a diverse fleet, from heavy goods vehicles to specialised appliances. This permanent, 37-hour-per-week role is based at Warwick and offers the chance to join the out-of-hours call-out rota.

You will hold a full UK driving licence and be prepared to participate in the emergency standby service.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Be willing to take part in the out-of-hours emergency standby service.
• Be flexible and comfortable undertaking a varied range of duties.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles, from heavy goods vehicles to specialist appliances.
• Work to high standards and support the emergency services as part of the fleet operation.
• Participate in the out-of-hours call-out service as required.
