Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Leicester is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team. This role involves servicing and maintaining a variety of trucks and vehicles along with fault diagnostics and repairs. The position offers competitive hourly rates and various training opportunities, including HGV driving licence training. Ideal candidates will have experience in the HGV sector and hold a full UK driving licence. A rotating early/late shift pattern is part of the job.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car sectors.
• Ideally have a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• General computer literacy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a wide variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
• Fault diagnostics and mechanical/electrical repairs.
• Carry out repairs in a safe manner following manufacturer procedures.
