Job summary

Renault Trucks in East Suffolk (IP11 3JB) is seeking an HGV Technician Supervisor to lead the shift, coordinate workload and ensure high-standard servicing. The role is a 40-hour week from 15:30 to midnight with a 30-minute break and paid alternate Saturdays, plus opportunities with diagnostic work and safety checks.

You will diagnose and repair vehicles, use diagnostic equipment, and collaborate with dealer management on training and KPI needs.

Qualifications

• C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification.
• Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Good understanding of H&S in workshop environments.
• Clean Driving Licence – HGV advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the shift technicians and coordinate workload.
• Liaise with the Dealerpoint Manager on staff, training and KPIs.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles to Renault Trucks standards.
• Service vehicles to a high standard.
• Participate in call-out and breakdown rota when required.
• Use diagnostic equipment and conduct safety inspections.
• Complete job cards clearly and accurately.
