Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Tonbridge, Kent is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to service, repair and maintain a varied fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles.

You will join a collaborative workshop, focusing on PMI inspections and MOT preparation while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality workmanship. The role is full-time and on-site, Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:00, with a salary circa £40,000 per annum and benefits including 23 days of annual leave and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV Technician or equivalent mechanical qualification.
• Experience working on HGV and LGV vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of PMI inspections and MOT preparation.
• Excellent time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV and LGV vehicles.
• Completing PMI inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT testing.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Managing workloads effectively and completing jobs within agreed timescales.
