Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a fast-paced workshop in Tonbridge, Kent. You will service and repair a varied fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles for multiple customers, delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role is full-time and on-site, working Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:00. A salary of around £40,000 per annum is offered, with overtime available, plus pension and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV Technician or equivalent mechanical qualification with experience on HGV/LGV vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of PMI inspections and MOT preparation.
• Excellent time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV and LGV vehicles.
• Completing PMI inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT testing.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Managing workloads effectively and completing jobs within agreed timescales.
