Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy Grantham workshop. You will service, inspect and repair a mixed fleet, mainly DAF with Scania and Mercedes, in a hands-on role.

Work is predominantly in-house with occasional breakdowns/local call-outs. The position is Monday–Friday with overtime for Saturdays. A Class 1 licence is desirable but not essential, and references are important for the role.

Qualifications

Must be fully qualified HGV technician or time-served.
Experience on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
Capable of servicing, repairs, inspections and fault finding.
Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety.
Reliable with good references.

Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance, servicing, inspections and repairs, with occasional breakdowns/local call-outs.
Most work is workshop-based with very little call-out.

HGV Technician, Grantham

£21.50 - £22.50 per hour

Monday-Friday

We're recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy general haulage operation in Grantham. This is a hands-on workshop role working across a mixed fleet, mainly DAF alongside Scania and Mercedes.

You’ll be carrying out general maintenance, servicing, inspections and repairs, with occasional breakdowns/local call-outs. Most work is workshop-based with very little call-out required.
