Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Limited is seeking two experienced HGV Technicians for our Wellington depot. You will maintain and repair vehicles, perform inspections, and diagnose faults in line with DVSA standards. The role requires hands-on servicing, defect management, and accurate record-keeping.

You will liaise with on-site customers, manage defects, and ensure safe working practices. Weekends are not required, and the package includes bonuses and benefits.

Hours: Monday - Friday Days (45 hrs)

Salary: £49,000+ Bonus + benefits

HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity

We are looking for 2 experienced HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter to join our team as an HGV Technician. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles for our client at the Wellington depot. This hands-on role involves carrying out inspections, servicing, and repairs to DVSA standards, diagnosing faults, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality. You'll also liaise with on-site customers, manage running defects, and keep accurate records to ensure compliance. No weekends required with this role

Duties of the HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.

• Apprentice-served HGV Technician qualification.

• HGV Licence desirable but not essential
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills.
