Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking an HGV Technician at the Bristol Depot (BS11 0YW) for full-time permanent work. Salary range £20.84–£26.69 per hour with weekend and unsociable-hour premiums; Monday–Friday shifts (08:00 start) and benefits apply.

The role focuses on inspecting and maintaining the HGV fleet, preparing vehicles for MOT testing, fault diagnosis, and prioritising safety in all tasks. A City & Guilds/IMI qualification and HGV experience are preferred and a Class C+E licence is an asset.

Qualifications

City & Guilds Part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry
Commercial experience on HGVs is essential
Class C+E licence preferable but not essential

Responsibilities

Inspect and maintain our HGV Fleet
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport to test centre
Record vehicle defects and keep accurate records of work carried out on each vehicle
Repair minor accident damage
Carry out fault diagnosis
Prioritise safety in all aspects of the role
