Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus Bristol is seeking a qualified HGV Technician to join our depot on a full-time, permanent basis. You will interpret repair orders, attend training, and record work accurately while delivering high service quality.

You should have workshop experience with large commercial vehicles, be a good communicator, and able to work as part of a small team. We offer a competitive salary plus a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV Technician with workshop experience in handling large vehicles.
• Ability to interpret repair orders and follow instructions precisely.
• Willingness to attend training and stay updated with technical information.
• Efficient at recording work and reporting faults or additional works.

Responsibilities

• Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions.
• Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information.
• Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults.
• Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
• Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests.
• Comply with good health and safety practice and company policies.
