Job summary

Auto Skills UK seeks a skilled HGV Technician to join our Bristol Depot. You will perform servicing and repairs, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with company standards, while maintaining an organised workshop environment.

The role offers a 45-hour week (Mon-Fri, 7am–5pm) with overtime paid at 1.5× and regular salary reviews. Applicants should have NVQ/C&G Level 3, MOT experience, and proven technical qualifications.

Qualifications

• The core skills and qualifications required for a HGV Technician are:
• Time served technician with NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs.
• MOT preparation experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards.
• Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based.

Description

We currently have a vacancy for a HGV Technician to join our busy Bristol Depot.

Shift Options 45 Hour Week

Monday to Friday 7am to 5 pm

Basic Salary = £48000 + Overtime = £50000 plus.

The HGV Technician Role

• Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards
• Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based

Requirements

The core skills and qualifications required for a HGV Technician are:

• Appropriate technical qualifications.
• Time Served Tech or NVQ C&G Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs
• MOT preparation experience
