Job summary

Biffa Waste - Culham Depot is seeking an HGV Technician to maintain and repair vehicles and waste handling equipment in compliance with health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements. You will perform scheduled preventative service and inspections on a diverse fleet from vans to 44t assets.

The role offers a joining bonus of £1,500, shift pattern 10:00-19:30, overtime and call out available, and opportunities for upskilling and career development within a long-standing UK-wide waste

Qualifications

• To be eligible, you should have a full Level 3 HGV/PSV apprenticeship or City & Guilds/NVQ in relevant trade.
• Minimum requirement is a car/van driving licence; HGV licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Biffa vehicles and waste handling equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative service and inspections per DVSA and safety rules.
• Support learning and progression through a diverse heavy-vehicle fleet.
