Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced HGV Technician for a busy fleet workshop in Rugby. You will service, repair and diagnose heavy vehicles, work with diagnostic tools and maintain high safety standards.

Applicants must have Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence, and the right to work in the UK. Overtime available, with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a technician in HGV/Commercial vehicles.
• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to work in a busy fleet workshop.
• Strong servicing and diagnostic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial vehicles, trucks and vans.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Repair engine, transmission, braking and suspension systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify faults.
• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Complete accurate job cards and repair records.
• Maintain high workshop, quality and Health & Safety standards.

Job description

HGV Technician – RugbyWe are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, Heavy Vehicle Technician or Truck Technician to join a busy fleet workshop in Rugby. Applicants must have previous vehicle technician experience, hold a relevant Level 3 qualification, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Rugby

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (flexible) | 42.5 hours per week

Overtime: Available at 1.25x hourly rate
