Job summary

KPJ Group in Warrington is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to service, inspect and repair trucks and trailers. The role focuses on 70% truck work and 30% trailer work, with preparation for MOT and fault diagnosis across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Candidates should have 5+ years working on HGVs, with NVQ Level 3 qualification desirable. The position offers regular daytime hours, on-site training and a benefits package including breaks and pension.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, inspections and general repairs
• Working across trucks and trailers, with around 70% truck work and 30% trailer work
• Preparing vehicles for MOT
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Identifying defects and completing the required repair work
• Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Carrying out basic MIG welding when required

Job description

We’re looking for an HGV Technician to join a commercial vehicle business in Warrington. This role is suited to someone with at least 5 years’ experience working on HGVs, where you will carry out servicing, inspections, fault finding and repairs across trucks and trailers.
