Rotating shifts- Week 1: Monday 06:00-17:00, Tuesday - Friday 06.00-15.00; Week 2: Monday 06.00-17.30 Tuesday - Friday 09.00-18.00

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our growing team at West Lancs, Skelmersdale.
You’ll work on a wide range of commercial vehicles, including HGVs and RCVs (Refuse Collection Vehicles), carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.
As a HGV Technician you will be responsible for servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs / commercial vehicles; diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs, as well as carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
You will also be responsible for attending breakdowns, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, as well as Tacho calibrations, repairs and wheel alignment.
You will prepare vehicles for MOT and carry out commercial vehicle / HGV MOT inspections, while makings sure paperwork completed and up to date.
We’re looking for someone who knows their way around HGVs and enjoys keeping vehicles moving.
