NRG Riverside is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our Bellshill team. You will service and repair HGVs and municipal vehicles, diagnose faults and perform preventive maintenance to keep fleets moving.
You will handle breakdowns, tachograph calibrations, wheel alignment and MOT preparation with a focus on safety and quality. Training and development are provided to build expertise.

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our growing team at Bellshill.
You’ll work on a wide range of commercial vehicles, including HGVs and RCVs (Refuse Collection Vehicles), carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.
And if you haven’t worked on specialist vehicles before — don’t worry. We’ll provide specialist training to build on the skills you already have.
What will you be doing?
As a HGV Technician you will be responsible for servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs / commercial vehicles; diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs, as well as carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
You will also be responsible for attending breakdowns, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, as well as Tacho calibrations, repairs and wheel alignment.
You will prepare vehicles for MOT and carry out commercial vehicle / HGV MOT inspections, while makings sure paperwork completed and up to date.
