Job summary

Aspire talent network is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a well-established commercial vehicle workshop in the UK. You will service, maintain, diagnose and repair HGV units and trailers, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.

The role covers 45 hours a week across two shifts (8am-5pm and 11am-8pm) with optional overtime. Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, a full UK driving licence and strong fault-finding skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills essential.
• Full UK driving licence required; Class 1 (C+E) desirable but not essential.

• 45 hours per week
• Shifts: 8am-5pm / 11am-8pm

What we're looking for:

• Ideally 3+ years' HGV/unit/trailer experience
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Class 1 (C+E) desirable but not essential
• Welding experience desirable

Pay: £21 per hour / £43,680 basic, with overtime paid at £26 per hour and potential earnings of up to £60,000
