Job description

Job Title: HGV Technician / HGV Fitter

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Dealer based in the Mansfield area.

Salary and Working Hours

• Basic Salary: c. £39,520 (£19 an hour)
• OTE: c. £43,000
• Working hours: Monday - Friday (6am - 2:00pm / 2pm - 10:00pm)
• Ad hoc Saturday mornings paid as overtime (x1.5)

About the Role

The successful candidate can expect a full-time position with opportunities to work with a longstanding client who has been with the company for over twenty years. Brand-specific training and development will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repair, and maintenance of HGVs
• Completion of job sheets and documentation
• Liaising with the Service and Parts Departments
• Preparation for MOTs

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• A Class 1 Licence may be advantageous
