Qualifications

• IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Several years’ post-qualification experience as an HGV technician.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced workshop.
• Active HGV driving licence advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all service and maintenance work to manufacturer timeframes.
• Conduct accurate diagnosis and repairs of malfunctions.
• Support colleagues with technical issues and innovations.
• Document diagnostics, repairs, services, and safety inspections thoroughly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations.

• Competitive hourly rate of £20-£23, based on experience and shift pattern
• Rotating early and late shifts from Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings paid as overtime
