Job summary

A well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is seeking an HGV Technician to carry out inspections, repairs, and general servicing. The ideal candidate will have full industry qualifications and experience in Truck & Trailer Maintenance. This full-time, permanent role offers a financial package of approximately £50,000 per annum including overtime, with ongoing training and a strong pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements.
  • Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection.
  • General Servicing and MOT preparation.

Depot Location: Exeter

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off 6am to 6pm

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £46,046 + OT = £50,000 Per Annum

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a day shift.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
  • Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
  • General Servicing and MOT preparation
  • Fault finding & diagnostics
  • Updating all required paperwork / databases
Qualifications
  • hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
  • A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair
