Job summary

Auto Skills UK is recruiting an HGV Technician for a well-established fleet maintenance company in Spelthorne. The role involves servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles, diagnosing faults, and preparing vehicles for MOTs.

We are seeking candidates with Level 3 HGV/PSV/LCV qualifications, strong diagnostic skills and a reliable, team-focused attitude. Monday to Friday hours, no weekend work, and a comprehensive benefits package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in HGV, PSV or LCV maintenance and repair.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and safety inspections.
• Accurately complete job cards and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Work effectively as part of a workshop team.

HGV TECHNICIAN

OTE: £55,000 per annum

Basic Salary: £50,000 per annum

Location: Spelthorne

Working Hours: 45 hours per week | Monday to Friday only

Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity with excellent benefits, sociable working hours and genuine work-life balance?

We are currently working with a well-established fleet maintenance company based in Spelthorne, who are looking to recruit an additional HGV Technician to join their successful and growing team.

The Role:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and safety inspections
• Accurately complete job cards and maintenance documentation
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Work effectively as part of an experienced workshop team

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in HGV, PSV or LCV Maintenance and Repair
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, PSV Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
